Hmm....

Okay, well I don't really know what to post for right now...'
We are doing homework (we meaning Sarah. :D ) and we just left piano lessons...
Mama and Papa are in Seattle for another round of chemo for Papa, so Celeste is making scalloped potatoes, so YUM!
(actually, I haven't had them I don't think, but they sound good and they are smelling good too!!!!)
I love potatoes. :D :D We love it when they are roasted in olive oil and sprinked with salt and pepper.
And if you ever go to the Daisy Cafe, they have some really good country-cut potatoes. :D LOVE 'EM!

crafty time!

Today Sarah and I made a little seashell candle! It's so cute! We took the wick from another candle not in use and then we poured hot wax that had a crayon melted into it for color into the shell. We let it dry and then voila! A seashell candle!
Yesterday we watched Despicable Me for the first time! (well, Celeste had seen it.) It was a really really cute movie! I liked it a lot. :D The little minions are so cute!
Overall, I think today will be a good day.

Concert!

Today Hannah and I have an orchestra concert!
We are playing about 5 songs with our intermediate orchestra (mostly freshman) and then one song with both our orchestra and advanced orchestra. It's going to be cool!

Woah, no school... again?

So the last time we had school was like... *checks calendar*... 7 days ago.
WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's crazy! Of course, that was counting the weekends, but still! Though the sticky snow has passed, we still have a lot of powdery snow. But that doesn't work that well for snowballs or sledding or snowmen or really anything except to watch or sit in, or play in if it doesn't require compacting snow. But that's okay, we are still having fun.
Just a little cabin fevered.
WHAT CAN WE DO???
Oh, and yesterday we made snow slushies... we put snow in a cup and poured some of a raspberry syrup onto it. YUMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

There ain't no school, today.

The title pretty much sums up everything. :)

SKIING! :)

There wasn't any school today for MLK day, so we went skiing with our friend Lydia at Mt. Baker!
It was SO much fun! We haven't skied since a few years ago, but it came back to us really quickly.
It was perfect snow... not icy, but it wasn't too powdery and hard to ski in, either. :) The mountain was sort of busy, but not inconveniently so.
After the whole entire day of skiing, we went to their house, and played in the snow, because it had snowed here too! I mean, we had a little from a few days ago, but not enough to really count.
It was really fun! We made a little snow jump for the sled, and had a few snowballs thrown around, and then went inside and had some pizza.
It was a really fun day, and I hope that it snows some and maybe we will either

• Have late arrival, or
• have no school!

Wouldn't that be fun? :)
