Good Mornin'!

Hi!
Here is a happy little morning post for you:

Hannah reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to Sarah in July 2007

So, yesterday Hannah and I made a hANDs TV video about Robert Schumann, a composer. It's for our orchestra, we have a project. It's pretty weird, but it looks professional too. I think we'll get a good grade; apparently there's bonus points if you do a video (as opposed to a PowerPoint).

On Friday, we had a track meet. Hannah and I did a Medley Relay, where it is a 200m, 200m, 400m, and 800m. Hannah did a great job on the 400m, and I passed 2 people in the 800m. It was fun! Our team came in 7th overall (not just in that heat). Relay's are fun!
A smooth hand-off from Hannah, finishing the 400m, to Sarah, starting the 800m.
Then we left to go to our friend's party. It was a sleepover, and it was really fun. We went to go see The Hunger Games. When it was done, Hannah and I both thought that it was a good movie, but that they didn't have enough detail. It seemed like they got every plot, but, especially in District 12 and her past, there could have been more. But we loved it. We went to bed at like 2ish? and left her house at 9:45ish and...

The Girl on Fire!
Later we went back to our house, took a shower, and got ready to go to the movie theater with our youth group, Graceland.... to see the Hunger Games.... AGAIN! We both thought it was a lot better the second time, because we weren't focused on how true it stayed to the book down to the last detail, but it was more like we were actually watching/enjoying a movie vs. critiquing it. And we ate lots of candy. :D

So then last night we went into Hannah's room, Raney and Hannah and I, and we had a little sleepover and listened to music. It was fun. :)

And now it's Sunday, and we slept for almost 12 hours, since we didn't have much sleep after a track meet, intense movie, cake and presents, talking, another movie, and all the other great things that happened over the weekend.

And now for breakfast.

  1. Me too! I TOTALLY loved The Hunger Games the 2nd time much much better than the 1st time! Its was because of the same thing too! I was focusing on what they left out when, in reality, it was actually a really good movie! (Gotta love Peeta! ;)
